Test Boosters

The general outlook on many mainstream “test boosters” is that they do not work. The argument that stuck out to me the most is that most simply increase libido and do not contribute to the overall production of testosterone. This makes sense because I have used a handful of these “test boosters” and what I noticed is that they did increase my sex drive. Unfortunately, I do not have any blood work done from those times. Many men, with seeing an increase in sex drive or an increase in aggressiveness would believe that their testosterone levels have increased. Now, aggression does not necessarily mean that one is more masculine. Studies say that estradiol (estrogen) plays a factor in one’s behavior. This study shows that there is a “weak positive correlation with estradiol concentration” in relation to aggressive human behavior, but a correlation nonetheless.

On the topic of modern “test boosters”, there are a few compounds one should look for when determining whether a supplement is worth purchasing. This article has a wonderful table attached showing most ingredients that are found in test boosters and how they relate to hormone production.

I use Gorilla Mind’s “Sigma” in tangent with DHEA.
